Moving on up!

We are now in the nitty-gritty of moving. Our old location is now closed and we are working hard to get everything moved up the hill and around the corner to our new location at 35 S. Broadway in Tarrytown. It's a cool brick-and-white house known as the Junior League House. Our plan is to be open by the second week of March.

There are lots of new goodies on the way into the new location too. We will keep you posted on our re-opening date.  

Last Day of Moving Sale

Sunday, February 15, is the last day of our moving sale!

We will be open from noon to 5 p.m., so come by today.

We will start packing next week. The door will be open for the first few days of packing, so feel free to stop by. Call with any questions, too.

The "Lighten Our Load" sale continues!

The moving sale continues with at least 30% off on everything in the store. Come by today and check out the amazing selection of gifts, cards, and jewelery. There is still plenty to choose from.

Renovations on our new space are well under way. We will be moving at the end of February and time is running short. Help us lighten our load so we won't have to pack too much.

You should come by and take a look -- this is a great chance to get some deals. The sale will run until moving day at the end of February. We won't be moving far, but some of this stuff is kind of heavy.

Happy January

We hope everyone had a great holiday. Happy New Year, too! This year is starting out with a bang for Whimsies. We are moving at the end of next month. As scary as it may sound, we are only going a few blocks and we will stay in Tarrytown. Stay tuned here and keep posted as to our plans. You can even subscribe. Just look at the top right of this page to sign up. Be the first to know about our "Lighten The Load" sale, which is right around the corner.

In the meantime ... have I mentioned the beautiful handmade books and albums we have from Made By One Girl? Pictured above are three smaller journals. There are many other shapes and sizes in stock right now, so please stop by and check them out. The inside pages are heavy archival paper and ready for everything from writing and photos to art journaling with paints and mixed media.

Hope you are all having a great holiday season. All the elves at Whimsies are settling in for a few days off to recover from a bustling season. Every year we close fron Christmas day to New Year's Day to recharge and spend precious time with friends and family. We hope you can do the same.

We will reopen on Friday January 2nd. Please stop by to check out our post-holiday sale. All holiday items and even some other items will be marked down.

Our winter store hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. We are closed on Sunday and Monday.
Do you need a late gift? We still have plenty of wrapping paper. Gift wrap is free on any regularly priced purchase.

Holiday Hours Have Begun

The new holiday hours go into effect today. We are now open from 10 to 7 Monday through Wednesday, 10 to 9 Thursday and Friday, 10 to 7 Saturdays, and noon to 5 Sundays. The new window decorations are up. You have got to see the cool garland Jackie made! And of course Meadowbrook Gourds.

We are also featured in the December issue of InTown Westchester Magazine, on page 47, the Green Teen WishList. Our listing is for Zulugrass Necklaces, which are amazingly versatile!
